As such, whether "office thermal printers" that currently comply with the customs definition should still be classified under the new tariff subheading from XX, "XX - Thermal Printers", would easily lead to classification controversy.

In XX, office printers under Heading 84.71 were merged, adding Tariff Subheading "XX - Printers specifically for automatic data processing systems under Heading 84.71 that can connect to such automatic data processing systems or networks" while the tariff rate remained at 0%; meanwhile, Tariff Subheading "XX - Digital Printing Presses" was added including ink jet printers that were previously under the same heading to this subheading.
